“NIB's property in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, was in need of renovation. In addition to a major civil engineering overhaul, we wanted to adapt our premises to actual working practices. The result was modern multi-purpose facilities which emphasize our bank's values with sustainable solutions and staff well-being. The entire renovation was carried out in accordance with the environmentally certified BREEAM Excellent renovation method.
Naava green walls were already considered at the design stage to support our core idea of sustainable and comfortable modern premises. Green walls proved to be very popular when staff were involved in the design. Naava's can now be found on all office floors. We have created e.g. green reading and discussion corners and shared workspaces.”
