Did you know that we breathe over 15 kg of air everyday, from which 14 kg is indoor air? Despite this we tend to concentrate on the food we eat and the water we drink instead of the air we breathe. This is quite ironic since we can survive weeks without food, days without water but only minutes without air.
Polluted air affects 92% of the global population. So fresh, natural air - both indoors and outdoors - is a luxury that only a few can enjoy in today’s world.
Pure air was the hot topic when we at Naava (formerly known as NaturVention) had the honor to welcome visitors from Beijing, China. The students from Beijing ’s 166th high school were visiting their fellow students from the Finnish business oriented high school Lauttasaaren yhteiskoulu or “Lykki” during a week filled with visits to innovative Finnish companies like Rovio, Fazer and Naava.
The students got a chance to learn more about our unique innovation - Naava and how it purifies air. However, the fact that Naava actually has the ability to make you smarter and boost your performance was something that amazed the students.
They were thrilled to hear that according to a study conducted by Harvard, good indoor air quality can increase our cognitive performance by 61%. Great insider tip to get better exam results!

The students also had the opportunity to share their thoughts and take a closer look at the Naavas at Hanken School of Economics. Hanken wants to offer its students the best possible study environment and has about 40 Naavas around the school purifying the air.
